Is it possible to create EXCEL's '=SUBTOTAL(9,range)' function in WebFOCUS and pass it to EXCEL?
I have tried 'ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT XLSX FORMULA' with Column-TOTAL & SUBTOTAL but it only creates a '=SUM' function.
I know I could use a Template, but I am looking for a way where that wouldn't be necessary.
Any and all suggestions would be helpful. This message has been edited. Last edited by: wdusbank,

That's how I do it. I allow space for the subtotals in the report, generally at the top between the Page/Report Heading and Column Titles. Then I use Auto_Open macro to insert the formula and copy it to other cells if needed. I use Auto_Open macros in 95% of our Excel Reports to do things WebFOCUS doesn't do or at least doesn't do easily.
In FOCUS since 1985. Prod WF 8.0.08 (z90/Suse Linux) DB (Oracle 11g), Self Serv, Report Caster, WebServer Intel/Linux.

That's the best, if not only, solution. Excel Macro Template
