As of December 1, 2020, Focal Point is retired and repurposed as a reference repository. We value the wealth of knowledge that's been shared here over the years. You'll continue to have access to this treasure trove of knowledge, for search purposes only.
New TIBCO Community Coming Soon
In early summer, TIBCO plans to launch a new community—with a new user experience, enhanced search, and expanded capabilities for member engagement with answers and discussions! In advance of that, the current myibi community will be retired on April 30. We will continue to provide updates here on both the retirement of myibi and the new community launch.
What You Need to Know about Our New Community
We value the wealth of knowledge and engagement shared by community members and hope the new community will continue cultivating networking, knowledge sharing, and discussion.
During the transition period, from April 20th until the new community is launched this summer, myibi users should access the TIBCO WebFOCUS page to engage.
I have 7.6.9 installed on my laptop now. I've been running with 7.6.5 for months. Now that I have 7.6.9 I am having trouble deploying to s customer with a 7.1.1 server. I don't know if the upgrade is related -- can anyone speak to this?
I created an exceptionally simple test Maintain form and tried to deploy it, and it failed as well.

I'm looking in the release notes now to see if I can find a reference. I'm surprised an incremental change would have this effect, but of course it's possible.
It's hard, because I have five or six customers and I have to support all of them on different versions. A new customer pushed me up, and an old customer suddenly needs a quick fix.

Well for tonight I just hand-edited the mnt file. Not exactly cricket, but it was a very small change. Doing that I was able to deploy with not troubles.
Thanks for the feedback.

I have 3 versions of Dev. Studio on my desktop, and find it relatively easy to switch versions when necessary.
I created a shortcut (desktop icon) for each version, and a corresponding shortcut for each versions thisfoci.bat (renamed to reflect the version), and lined them up so they are grouped together.
Then to change version: 1. Close out of the current Dev. Studio 2 Click on the thisfoci.bat shortcut of the new version you wish to use. 3. Click on the D.S. version shortcut
