Hi,

I am facing an issue but was unable to find solution to it.

Last week, the webfocus site was working great without any issue. On Monday, when I tried to access the same site, I got this error.

I have asked Admin to restart WebFocus server and Front line IIS server. But it did not make any difference.

I checked the other similar questions in this forum such as setting application path correctly. There was no changes done.

What other steps I need to check to make it work again?

(I am new to this.) Suggestions welcomed.

Thanks.

The fex sa_zzz is not found, do you know where it was created (ie in a domain or on the reporting server) You need to see if you can find it. If on the reporting server then have your admin log in directly and search for it under the \ibi\apps directory structure. If it is in a domain then you need to log into the WebFOCUS environment and search for it there. What are you doing that produces this error? Also Apache Tomcat is the application server and you might want them to recycle that as well.

Thank you for using Focal Point!

Thanks Chuck.

Admin have recycle it several times.

Action:
when it is called by the WebFOCUS front end using: /ibi_apps/WFServlet?&IBIAPP_app=Apple&IBIF_focexec=SA_ZZZ&SA_ID=tree%5C1234567890&APP_LOC=http://servername/root/Apple/firstscript.asp

, SA_ZZZ is not found

SA_ZZZ.fex is never moved to new location.

Admin and I can see the file in the location.

Thanks.

Thanks MartinY.

Only if the file is in MRE, they need to be published.

But it is on the Server. So they dont need to be published.

The permission level for that file have both read and execute rights. I believe its enough.

Thanks.

Phil

If this is still an issue you should open a case with techsupport. All your answers sound like everything is in place correctly so they will need to help you debug this.

Thanks everyone for the help and suggestions.

Earlier I had given read and execute rights for that file, it didnt work.

This time I gave "full control" to the file, it works.

Thanks again.
