i would like to read multiple values into a amper variable. i.e. i have a column from where i am geeting the data. i would like to read all these data into an amper variable.Is there a way to do that.

Or you can do a search on the forum or look in the documentation. It's all in there. Your mention of a column might indicate that you are reading a table. A -READ will only work with a flat file.
