[CLOSED] Dev Studio vs App studio for viewing reporting objects
In 7704 Dev Studio I could open up a reporting object and view the code used to create that object. Is there a way to view that code in App studio? I tried to view it and it just brought up the include statement and there was no way to go into the include to the included lines.This message has been edited. Last edited by: FP Mod Chuck,

I'm afraid that backdoor was closed with 8.x. You might be able to see what's in the code by adding a -SET &ECHO =ALL but I haven't had the urge to try it.

My neither I haven't try it, but are you able to view it from the Client (right click + Edit) instead of AS ?

From client, the only Edit is in GUI. No Edit in text editor.

If only view you are wanting, copy RO to paste in server folder. Then use editor favorite.
