Recently I updated my TEST 826 system. Now when I try to launch 826 AppStudio, it fails with a eggshell.dll error. Support says I can not have both versions installed on the same machine! This only began after the 826 patch level was updated. Is anyone else having this issue? We use 823 for Development and Production and the TEST system for validating the system prior to upgrades.

To switch back and forth between app studio versions you need to navigate to the \ibi\AppStudio82\bin directory and run the thisfoci.bat file. It will reset your registry entries to that version. You must have two separate install directories if you have 8203 and 8206 installed so navigate to the one you want to use and run that .bat file.

Chuck, Thanks. That seems to have corrected the problem. I run the folder specific bat and then open that version of App studio and everything things to work. Once I am done with that and need to switch to the other version, I close APP Studio, run the other bat, open App studio.
