I am working on the report which has the field I need to decode data :

DECODE(ACTION_ITEMS_TAB.APPROVERDATE, NULL, DECODE(ACTION_ITEMS_TAB.COMPLETEDATE, NULL, 'Open', 'Completed-Pending Approval'),'Closed')

Then I save this as the HOLD file and build another report based on this hold file. The issue is I put that field as a CROSS, 'Completed-Pending Approval' is too long and it just stays in 1 line, how can I break it to 2 lines ? Like this :
 
          Open      Completed-Pending      Closed
                    Approval

instead of:
          Open      Completed-Pending  Approval    Closed

'Completed-Pending Approval' is just a value in your field. You may try to place a <br /> tag in between the value so it will give you a line break in HTML.

If dealing with other formats such as PDF, you may need to add a CR/LF character instead.

Search the forum for previous posts on CRLF or line breaks and I'm confident that you'll find some good clues.
