Wondering if in a WebFOCUS 8.2.01M portal, are there any surface edits and messages that inform the user when they select a date range, that the begin date is after the end date?

Please Advise.

There are several ways to do this.
1) Always execute an 'initialization' procedure from your 'Submit' button and include all your validations within that with an appropriate 'Error Handler' and 'Error Messaging'. The appropriate 'Error Message' with be displayed, on the main page or as an 'Alert', instead of the expected display whenever an 'Error' is encountered.
2) JavaScript Checking / Alerts.
3) Other...
