Have you done a search of Tech Support or the documentation ?

What is is related to ?

Here is something that I found.

http://techsupport.information...om/sps/10202115.html

You will need a login into tech support for this.

It depends on what kicks the code back.

e.g. Here is a reference for all Reporting Server related codes:

http://documentation.informati...l_iway71/msgcode_71/

The link Waz sent you is more relevant for the specific code you're looking for, but you might find the above link handy in the future. I find Chapter 20 particularly useful.

I was going to suggest this one (https://www-s7.its.unc.edu/doc/ufp/xarc_errdoc.pdf), but Doug's beats the pants of it. I'm bookmarking Doug's.

Thanks!

For a lot of errors, running this command gives you more information about the error:
? 9999

E.G. ? 301 gives you:

0(FOC301) DATA CONTAINING EQUAL SIGNS OR COMMAS MUST BE QUOTED:
Prompted values can be supplied in advance of actual prompting by
identifying then with a 'name=value' syntax. Hence, if a single
response has an equal sign or comma as part of its value enclose it
in quotes so it won't be confused with advance data.

Unfortunately ? 1015 does not return more than the error message
0(FOC1015) KEYFIELD NOT IN ACCESSED PARENT SEGMENT %1%2%3%4

This particular error should be easy to correct.

Thanks for all your help. This will be a great resource in the future. As for this particular error, however, I found that it is due to Webfocus not escaping #'s in the URL for browsers other than IE. But I also found it can be fixed in mrchft.def

Here's a neat bit of code:
-SET &FOC_ERR_MSG = FEXERR(&FOCERRNUM,'A72');
-TYPE &FOC_ERR_MSG
Or, use &FOC_ERR_MSG in a "user friendly" display.
