hi, I just want to create a drill down Report.
Can someone tell me how to do that?
I got a pie Chart with SUM X and BY Y. when I click on Y I want another Report to open, which I already created in another fex. where my filter is the Y.

so in my main fex is wirtten:

TYPE=DATA, COLUMN=Y, TARGET='_self',
FOCEXEC=fex(Y=Y), $

It does open the Report if I doubleclick on Y but it is empty..

I hope it's understandable and someone can help me.

What do you get when you print &Y in fex.fex?
-TYPE Y: &Y
-EXIT

Jenni,

Here are two procedures that you can create as a working example of a simple drill down scenario.

Hope this helps.

COUNTRY_CARS_TEST.FEX;
-DEFAULT &COUNTRY = '_FOC_NULL'

TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT CAR
BY COUNTRY
WHERE COUNTRY EQ '&COUNTRY'
END

DRILLDOWN_TEST.FEX
TABLE FILE CAR
SUM
     DEALER_COST
BY  COUNTRY
HEADING
"Fill Analysis By Year Month"
WHERE RECORDLIMIT EQ 1000
ON TABLE SET PAGE-NUM NOLEAD
ON TABLE SET ASNAMES ON
ON TABLE NOTOTAL
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT HTML
ON TABLE SET HTMLCSS ON
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
     INCLUDE = IBFS:/EDA/EDASERVE/_EDAHOME/ETC/endeflt.sty,
$
TYPE=DATA,
     DRILLMENUITEM='DrillDown 1',
          FOCEXEC=IBFS:/WFC/Repository/DGarland/country_cars_test.fex( \
     COUNTRY=N1 \
     ),
          TARGET='_blank',
$
TYPE=HEADING,
     LINE=1,
     OBJECT=TEXT,
     ITEM=1,
     DRILLMENUITEM='DrillDown 1',
          FOCEXEC=IBFS:/WFC/Repository/DGarland/country_cars_test.fex( \
     COUNTRY=COUNTRY \
     ),
          TARGET='_blank',
$
ENDSTYLE
END
