Is there a consequence to deleting an InfoAssist template that has reports created from that particular template? I ask because I can't find any documentation. We want to convert any templates created in DevStudio to InfoAssist for consistency.

Hi spp_123

By InfoAssist template do you mean Reporting Object or a stylesheet? I am not aware of what an InfoAssist template is.

Thank you for using Focal Point!

Thanks Chuck for your quick response!

In that case, is it possible to redirect each report to a new template? Each template is a copy of each other, the difference is the old was created in DevStudio and the new in InfoAssist.

Hi Spp_123

Each report that uses the Reporting Object would have to be edited in text and change the -INCLUDE reference to the Reporting Object you wish to use.

In my case below here is what is in each report. The name of my reporting object is car_ro.fex

-INCLUDE IBFS:/WFC/Repository/sandbox/car_ro.fex

Hope that helps.

Thank you for using Focal Point!
