Hello Everyone,
I am having problems with creating an Excel file. The format of my output is a parameter to the FEX, the record limit is set to 500. If the format is EXL2K and the number of records available is less than 500, the excel file is not being created. Could anyone suggest a-go-around this issue?
Thanks in advance

TABLE FILE PRODUCT
PRINT ISBN TITLE BNC_SUBJ1 BNC_SUBJ2
WHERE BNC_SUBJ1 EQ 'ART'
WHERE BNC_SUBJ2 EQ 'ART000000'
WHERE TITLE EQ 'Arts and Culture'
WHERE RECORDLIMIT EQ 500
ON TABLE SET ONLINE-FMT EXL2K
END

If you try with other format, is that working.

What's your current version of Webfocus and Excel?

try this
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT EXL2K
instead of the ON TABLE SET ONLINE-FMT EXL2K
expression you have. i'm not familiar with that expression, but i know the pchold one works, we use it all the time. if you had wanted to filedef the output excel file and park it somewhere instead of delivering it tothe screen, then ON TABLE HOLD AS filename FORMAT EXL2K
