Hey all,

Does anyone here know where an admin could change the default reporting server directory shown in the dialog pop-up in InfoAssist when users go to choose images to insert into their content? Is this a feature somewhere at all?

Thanks in advance!

CoolGuy,

It looks like this would be the Path as specified in the edasprof.

The Product Manager replied with the following:
In 8105 and below the images are being picked up from all of the Reporting server apps, that the user has access to.
For example if you create a new document, you will see a list of app folders that you have access to.
When you go to insert an image to the document, it will pick up all of the .gif and .jpg images that are in those app folders.

In 8200 and above we added a new feature, where a user can select an image from content folders as well.

Thank you for participating in the Focal Point Forum.

K, good to know. Thanks so much Tamra for looking into this for us. We are hoping to have a centralized directory that we can point to for all image needs across all apps. The new 8.2 feature you speak of looks promising. Thanks for that information!

Will mark this thread as closed/resolved.

Thanks again!
