Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to change a gauge background style to anything other than blue when I try and create a HTML5 gauge chart. It appears that all the standard options within HTML (such as "More Gauge Options") have vanished when I change the output to HTML5. If anything I should get more options if I switch the output to HTML rather than standard HTML? Is this a known issue with HTML5 gauge charts?

Cheers,

Oliver

Hi Oliver,
The blue you are seeing on a gauge is an outerBorder.
You can change it by adding:

*GRAPH_JS
gaugeProperties: {
outerBorder: {
width: 20,
fill: {color: 'red'},

}
}
*END

to your style section.

Here is a full example using CAR file:

GRAPH FILE CAR
SUM CAR.BODY.SALES
BY CAR.ORIGIN.COUNTRY
WHERE CAR.ORIGIN.COUNTRY EQ 'ENGLAND';
ON GRAPH PCHOLD FORMAT JSCHART
ON GRAPH SET HTMLENCODE ON
ON GRAPH SET GRAPHDEFAULT OFF
ON GRAPH SET ARGRAPHENGIN JSCHART
ON GRAPH SET VZERO OFF
ON GRAPH SET LOOKGRAPH GAUGE1
ON GRAPH SET STYLE *
*GRAPH_SCRIPT

setPieDepth(0);
setPieTilt(0);
setDepthRadius(0);
setCurveFitEquationDisplay(false);
setPlace(true);

*END

*END
*GRAPH_JS
gaugeProperties: {
outerBorder: {
width: 20,
fill: {color: 'red'},

}
}
*END
ENDSTYLE
END

-RUN

You can find this code and more in the HTML5 WebFOCUS document:

Thanks.
