Hi,
I want to send the output (Active HTML) of a report as an attachment in email, it do attach as an active html file (.htm) but the problem is it is attached as empty file.
Does any one know about this issue??
Please Help me Out.

Hi Mubbashir,
add the following lines of code to the TABLE FILE
request:
ON TABLE SET CACHELINES 100 | ON
ON TABLE SET WEBVIEWER ON

Where CACHELINES is set to the number of rows to be returned or ON.

Shakila it doesn't solve the problem
I still got no result displayed in active html reports
Note that i can see the code and also when i run it in Developer studio
the problem arise when i send it to email and want to display
Please help me out

What is the attached file size and from which browser are you opening it ?

With IE and large file sometime the browser opens but remains blank, no report is displayed. Try with Chrome or FireFox.


WF versions : Prod 8.2.04M gen 33, Dev 8.2.04M gen 33, OS : Windows, DB : MSSQL, Outputs : HTML, Excel, PDF

The file is about 920kb
and i tried to open it in all browsers, all browsers having the same issue
however i am also sending an html file along with active html file, which opens without any issue.

make sure that in Caster you have specified that the file type is active html.
that's a step often overlooked.
open the job, click on the Tasks tab, click on the task and click Edit; then at the bottom of that form where it says Report FOrmat, make sure you pick the first entry from the list, AHTML.

Also check the setting of IBIF_active_extjs in the client Administration Console -> Configuration -> Client Settings -> General

For offline AHTML it needs to be set to NO (default value).

Maybe it was changed

The IBIF_active_extjs is already set to default value, but issue remain same.
