Hi All,

I have an across report and tabular report , enabled visual bar color as blue this works in across reports HTML format but does not work in tabular reports HTML format report. , but when making report format as PDF it shows RED bar for negative values for across report while I have made bar color as blue

HTML Code Across Report ,

 TABLE FILE CAR
SUM
     COMPUTE var/D12.2 = CAR.BODY.DEALER_COST - CAR.BODY.RETAIL_COST;
BY  CAR.COMP.CAR
ACROSS LOWEST CAR.ORIGIN.COUNTRY
ON TABLE SET PAGE-NUM NOLEAD
ON TABLE SET ASNAMES ON
ON TABLE NOTOTAL
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT HTML
ON TABLE SET HTMLEMBEDIMG ON
ON TABLE SET HTMLCSS ON
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
     INCLUDE = IBFS:/EDA/EDASERVE/_EDAHOME/ETC/warm.sty,
$
TYPE=REPORT,
$
     GRAPHTYPE=DATA,
     ACROSSCOLUMN=N1,
     GRAPHCOLOR='BLUE',
$
ENDSTYLE
END

HTML Tabular report (Issue Red bar color )

 TABLE FILE CAR
SUM
     COMPUTE var/D12.2 = CAR.BODY.DEALER_COST - CAR.BODY.RETAIL_COST;

ON TABLE SET ASNAMES ON
ON TABLE NOTOTAL
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT HTML
ON TABLE SET HTMLEMBEDIMG ON
ON TABLE SET HTMLCSS ON
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
     INCLUDE = IBFS:/EDA/EDASERVE/_EDAHOME/ETC/warm.sty,
$
TYPE=REPORT,
$
     GRAPHTYPE=DATA,
     COLUMN=N2,
     GRAPHCOLOR='BLUE',
$
ENDSTYLE
END

PDF Across report (Issue Red bad color),

 TABLE FILE CAR
SUM
     COMPUTE var/D12.2 = CAR.BODY.DEALER_COST - CAR.BODY.RETAIL_COST;
BY  CAR.COMP.CAR
ACROSS LOWEST CAR.ORIGIN.COUNTRY
ON TABLE SET PAGE-NUM NOLEAD
ON TABLE SET ASNAMES ON
ON TABLE NOTOTAL
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT PDF
ON TABLE SET HTMLEMBEDIMG ON
ON TABLE SET HTMLCSS ON
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
     INCLUDE = IBFS:/EDA/EDASERVE/_EDAHOME/ETC/warm.sty,

Your issue is created by the style sheet, if you remove it the proper color is displayed.

It seems that something in the style sheet cause the GRAPHCOLOR not to be applied.

Yes Martin,

I removed style sheet it works. But the same style works with HTML output.

Understood, but PDF have its own way to apply style sheet and styling so it's possible that you get in a "section" that react in a different way. (which it seems to be).

But you can easily unapplied the style sheet when in PDF by adding a simple test condition on the output format.

-DEFAULTH &WFFMT = 'HTML'
-SET &SKIPSTYLE = IF &WFFMT NE 'HTML' THEN '-*' ELSE '';
TABLE FILE CAR
SUM COMPUTE var/D12.2 = CAR.BODY.DEALER_COST - CAR.BODY.RETAIL_COST;
BY  CAR.COMP.CAR
ACROSS LOWEST CAR.ORIGIN.COUNTRY
ON TABLE SET PAGE-NUM NOLEAD
ON TABLE SET ASNAMES ON
ON TABLE NOTOTAL
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT &WFFMT
ON TABLE SET HTMLEMBEDIMG ON
ON TABLE SET HTMLCSS ON
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
&SKIPSTYLE     INCLUDE = IBFS:/EDA/EDASERVE/_EDAHOME/ETC/warm.sty,
$
     GRAPHTYPE=DATA,
     ACROSSCOLUMN=N1,
     GRAPHCOLOR='BLUE',
$
ENDSTYLE
END
