How do I get report caster to not overide my hold file. It seems to want to make it into an excel document and not store the hold file like it says in the FEX

Caster strips out ON TABLE PCHOLD ... and replaces it with what you have requested in the caster job.
It does not do this with ON TABLE HOLD ... I know this because we have plenty of jobs with intermediate HOLD stages. Hammo1j right on the mark. RC overwrites any 'on table pchold' written in the fex with what you request in rc job. use on table hold in the fex to preserve your hold files...
