Look for "Displaying a Welcome Message in the Banner" in the "WebFOCUS Managed Reporting Administrator's Manual". Did you "Click the True option to the right of showBannerUserGreeting in the Settings pane"?

Do you want to change the custom message in the message.html, or display a message in the banner? Also, where is the custom message coming from? DB, or one time thing?

Hi Guys ,
Thank you for the quick answer . I edited the message.html file and activated message of the day in Dashboard View Builder and now I am able to see the message in the banner .
