Hi All,

We are doing a platform migration from SSRS to Webfocus. We have multiple reports written in SSRS 2008 and need to port them to WebFocus.
The underlying rendering language for both SSRS and Webfocus are XML, So we were wondering if there was any way that we can leverage this XML to speed up our process(or any other way)

Any inputs/suggestions are highly appreciated.

Thanks,
Nasar

Hi Naser,

There is no direct tool available for conversion the report to WebFOCUS. If you have the SQL query, you can use passthru to get the data into WebFOCUS and then create the report. If not, you might need to follow master file approach.

Sometimes back I did work on migration from Crystal to WebFOCUS and actually it was total rewrite. If you need more help in WebFOCUS front, I can help you out.

Thanks,
Pravin Singh
