Hi,

We are trying WebFOCUS 7.6.10 installation in our test environment.(Win 2003)

On moving to Client Console -> Configuration -> Redirection console
the page displays HTTP error.

Apart, everything works fine.even the sample ad-hoc report from client console retrieves data.
mime file has also been checked.

Pls let me know your suggestions.

Thanks,
M

A lot of things can cause this error.

1- Is this a fresh install or an upgrade?

2- If fresh install, did everything work before migration?

Seems like corrupted basedir or user file.

Thanks,
Sayed

Am I correct in assuming you have tomcat as your app server?
If so, check tomcat's logfiles. They are usually located in C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 5.5\logs.
If the error is servlet related, there will be an entry in one of the logfiles which may help you analyse the error situation better.

Hi Garry,
We dont use Tomcat.
We have IIS & JBOSS as application & Web server in the present environment.
I couldn't get any information from IIS logs.

Thanks,
M

I wouldn't have expected anything in the IIS log files.
But maybe JBOSS's logfiles? Is there anything like a logfile in Jboss (I don't know Jboss at all). If so, is there anything in there that might explain what the probem is?

I'd suggest opening a case with Techsupport so you can be assisted.

When you open a case, be sure to upload a screenshot of the error you are seeing and a copy of your application server logs.
