How do you enter/display HTML code in this forum?

I am attempting to ask a question involving displaying FOCUS output in a HTML page.

When I post my question, the HTML code is not being displayed. However if I click on the respond with quotes option, the original question with the HTML code is in the response window.

How can you enter HTML code into this forum, and have it displayed in the FORUM? Do I need to preceed all the HTML code with some special character? Is there some button I should press while entering my HTML code into this forum?

Hi JohnK,

To post HTML code, please wrap your code with [ code ] and [ /code ] (no space before and after the [ ] please Smiler ). Or please send me a private message to let me know which post you are referring to and then I can correct it.

When you enter the text of the post you will see a red icon in the toolbar which has carats sandwiching a forward slash

Alternatively, click on the options: link in the left hand frame of the input screen and see options for "Disable HTML", "Pure HTML" etc.

You can also disable your signature from the options.
