I am trying to do a simple Please wait message that also kicks off a procedure in a Domain folder.

This is how I was able to do this in WF 7 but in 8 this does not work. What am I missing?

I am able to execute a fex under edaserve using a URL

Hi David,

The call that you are making is for the older form of Managed Reporting - which is now the Repository of course.

You may wish to use the newer call where the URL would be like the following -

"/ibi_apps/rs/ibfs/WFC/Repository/Public/Procedure.fex?IBIRS_action=run"

or from an application folder -

"/ibi_apps/rs/ibfs/EDA/EDASERVE/ibisamp/carinst.fex?IBIRS_action=run"

I think that you should be able to work out how you need to change your HTML form obects.

Tony - Thank you. just had to add the ID and Password and it worked.

Since business does not want the ID/password every where had to make additional changes.

Now I can make this a generic Please Wait after I add all of the different hidden criteria for the application. I have not tested it to run an object outside of the current domain/Repository folder yet.
