I am trying to do a simple Please wait message that also kicks off a procedure in a Domain folder.
-HTMLFORM BEGIN
<HTML>
<HEAD>
<SCRIPT TYPE="text/javascript">
onload = function()
{
form.submit(true);
}
</SCRIPT>
<TITLE> &TITLE </TITLE>
</HEAD>
<BODY BGCOLOR="#CCFFFF">
<form target="dscCall" method="get" target="dsc" action="http://localhost:8080/ibi_apps/WFServlet">
<input type="hidden" name="IBIMR_action"     value="MR_RUN_FEX">
<input type="hidden" name="IBIMR_sub_action" value="MR_STD_REPORT">
<input type="hidden" name="IBIMR_folder"     value="#Hidden">
<input type="hidden" name="IBIMR_domain"     value="whytest/whytest.htm">
<input type="hidden" name="IBIMR_fex"        value="app/&FEXNAME">
<BR>
<BR>
<BR>
<BR>
<BR>
<FONT COLOR=BLUE><CENTER>
Please wait as  &TITLE  loads...
</CENTER>
</FORM>
</BODY>
</HTML>
-HTMLFORM END
-RUN

This is how I was able to do this in WF 7 but in 8 this does not work. What am I missing?

I am able to execute a fex under edaserve using a URL
<META HTTP-EQUIV="Refresh" CONTENT="0;URL=http://bcdevsrv057:8080/ibi_apps/WFServlet?IBIAPP_app=peehip&|IBIF_ex=top_10_mdc_per_patient&|MONTH=&MONTH&|CPI_TYPE=&CPI_TYPE;">

Hi David,

The call that you are making is for the older form of Managed Reporting - which is now the Repository of course.

You may wish to use the newer call where the URL would be like the following -

"/ibi_apps/rs/ibfs/WFC/Repository/Public/Procedure.fex?IBIRS_action=run"

or from an application folder -

"/ibi_apps/rs/ibfs/EDA/EDASERVE/ibisamp/carinst.fex?IBIRS_action=run"

I think that you should be able to work out how you need to change your HTML form obects.

Tony - Thank you. just had to add the ID and Password and it worked.

Since business does not want the ID/password every where had to make additional changes.

-SET &LOADING=1;

-HTMLFORM BEGIN
<HTML>
<HEAD>
<SCRIPT TYPE="text/javascript">
function load(){
document.frm1.submit()
}
</script>

<TITLE> Loading </TITLE>
</HEAD>
<BODY BGCOLOR="WHITE" onload="load()">
<form name="frm1" id="frm1" action="/ibi_apps/run.bip" method="get">
<input type="hidden" name="BIP_REQUEST_TYPE" value="BIP_RUN">
<input type="hidden" name="BIP_folder" value="IBFS:/WFC/Repository/tester1/Hidden_Content">
<input type="hidden" name="BIP_item" value="&LOAD_FEXNAME">
<input type="hidden" name="GRP_NR" value="&Group_Num">
<input type="hidden" name="LOADING" value="&LOADING">
<BR>
<BR>
<BR>
<BR>
<BR>
<FONT COLOR=BLACK><CENTER>
Per your selection, this report may take up to 5 minutes to complete.
</CENTER>
</FORM>
</BODY>
</HTML>
-HTMLFORM END
-RUN

Now I can make this a generic Please Wait after I add all of the different hidden criteria for the application. I have not tested it to run an object outside of the current domain/Repository folder yet.
