Hi,
We have recently upgraded the MS Office to 2007 and when we run the reports in Excel it is giving the warning message before opening the reports. Do we need to run any Patches for this issue? Kindly advise.

Regards,
Majid

If you are referring to the message that states:

quote:
The file you are trying to open, 'WFServlet', is in a different format than specified by the file extension. Verify that the file is not corrupted and is from a trusted source before opening the file. Do you want to open the file now?

Then this is a message that you get when trying to open a spreadsheet from an older version of excel in excel 2007. It's a Microsoft issue and there is nothing inside WebFOCUS that can be done about it - until they create an excel 2007 output format.

The following FAQ from Microsoft explains how the default behavior, to issue the above warning message, can be turned off.
