RESTful service add to favorites ?

hi all.

We're migrating to WF8.

In WF7 we had an uncollapsed list that shows all reports for each domain independent of the subgroup they're in. All reports are hyperlinks ( i.e. one-click-start ).

The WF8 ( out-of-the-box ) content tree is:
content > folder ( used to be domain ) > standard reports > subgroup > report ( double click to start ).

From one click to six clicks.

...so we made another custom tree, using RESTful services. Sweating

But now we do like to add the "add to favorites" functionality.

But I can't not find any IBIRS_action= that looks like it might do the trick...
WF8.0 09 tech doc

Any clues?

Greets,
Dave

( Yes, I'll update my signature as soon as WF8 is operational )

Hi Dave,
I'm not aware of any RESTful Web Services action to Add to Favorites.

You should request a New Feature Request for the feature and it will be evaluated.

You would probably want Remove from Favorites also.

That's not an option.

We can't postpone our migration until ( if at all ) this feature is added.

Dave,
Then I think you should open a Hottrack case so your concerns can get addressed.
In the meantime, I'll inquire as to the feasibility.

I have confirmed that Add to Favorites is not part of WebFOCUS RESTful Web Services.

So, if you need this feature, a HOTTRACK case MUST be opened requesting this.

Otherwise, it is not tracked.
