Can anyone help me on how to create a folder in a particular location through WebFocus(through a report caster job) on daily basis with date as a name.

Where are you wanting to create this folder? In a WebFOCUS Domain or on the Reporting Server or elsewhere.

Outside of the WebFocus box, Shared drive (FTP).

Create a fex with the following syntax.

! mkdir \\servername\sharedfoldername\&YYMD

Then you can schedule it with ReportCaster.
