Can some one explain why sometimes when you add a report to a launch page Webfocus properly creates the variables section in the HTML and sometimes it doesn't.

Sometimes it creates duplicate controls sometimes it uses existing controls correctly.?

The Painter will create the controls when the variables in the fex do not match the name of any of the controls in the layout painter. So, even if the user places controls on the layout page first, and then imports/references the fex, duplicate controls may be created is the names don’t match. If the name of the amper variable in the fex matches the name of the control on the layout page, then a control will not be created for that variable.
