Is there a way to format specific text in headers/footers?
Like this:
Transaction PST_DT from a prior month can appear in the following month AS_OF_DT. These will be highlighted in YELLOW

-> could the word YELLOW actually have a background of yellow?

Currently, it's the entire line
TYPE=FOOTING,
LINE=2,
OBJECT=TEXT,
ITEM=1,
BACKCOLOR=RGB(255 255 153),

Thanks

Hi Bob,
You could do this by inserting spot markers <+0> on both sides of the word you want to highlight and then set the background color for that item.

Here is an example:

TABLE FILE CAR
SUM
     CAR.BODY.SEATS
     CAR.BODY.DEALER_COST
     CAR.BODY.SALES
BY  CAR.ORIGIN.COUNTRY
BY  CAR.COMP.CAR
BY  CAR.CARREC.MODEL
BY  CAR.BODY.BODYTYPE
ON TABLE SUBHEAD
"Amazing <+0>Yellow <+0>Cars"
ON TABLE SET PAGE-NUM NOLEAD
ON TABLE SET ASNAMES ON
ON TABLE COLUMN-TOTAL AS 'TOTAL'
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT HTML
ON TABLE SET HTMLCSS ON
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
$
TYPE=TABHEADING,
     LINE=1,
     OBJECT=TEXT,
     ITEM=1,
     SIZE=22,
$
TYPE=TABHEADING,
     LINE=1,
     OBJECT=TEXT,
     ITEM=2,
     SIZE=22,
     BACKCOLOR='YELLOW',
$
TYPE=TABHEADING,
     LINE=1,
     OBJECT=TEXT,
     ITEM=3,
     SIZE=22,
$
ENDSTYLE
END

[Solved]
Thanks Seyed. This worked. Knew about this but forgot.

Note: can't seem to get BACKCOLOR to work. So I applied font color and style instead.

Bob,
Double check your line number and item number for the word you want the background color changed is correct. BACKGROUND setting applied when line number and item numbers are found.

As your report is HTML, you could use CSS to style the text.
