Does anybody have a way to monitor Report Caster from a 'health check' perspective? We had one (and only one) time when Report Caster had about 700 jobs in it's queue, but could not submit it to the Reporting server, since it was (mistakenly) under the impression that there were no free agents on the server. We did not realize this for about 6 hours, and so lost 6 hours of processing time.
As a temporary workaround, we have a caster job that runs a Focexec that gets the current time from an Oracle database, and send the timestamp as a report via email. This caster job is scheduled to run every hour. If I do NOT get the email, I start looking into it.
