I having a problem running DS at the same time as Oracle. It works sometimes.
I get prompted for EDASERVER userid and password for the localhost. I installed DS using the default settings. Has anyone else had this problem Webfocus 7.6.2 on Windows Enterprise 2003 Server and Webfocus 7.6.2 on HP Unix Server |

By running Oracle which component do you mean?

I believe your problem resides with the fact that Oracle's XDB service is starting up using port 8080.
When that is up and DevStudio attempts to load Tomcat, Tomcat won't start as the port is already in use. Try changing the port that Oracle's XDB is listening on. http://www.ddbcinc.com/askDDBC/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=351 Scroll down to the bottom and follow the instructions.
