I am a beginner to WebFocus using Developer Studio 5.3. I am looking for a reference book, a developer's guide, or anything else that might help me develop reports which are a little more complicated than what I learned in the entry level training classes.

There are a ton of documentation that can help you. Go to the IBI main web page and under
Services & Support go to Documentation.
Choose the WebFocus area.
I would recommend a booklet like..
"Creating Reports with WebFocus 5.2", or even
the main reference language manual.

There is a group of online tutorials right here on Focal Point... give those a go... there are about 14 of them now. See if those help.
