Hello Neelima..If I understood correctly you want to include a fex in another fex. And I believe you can include other fex file if you use fully qualified name of it.
e.g.
-INCLUDE IBFS:/WFC/Repository/domain_folder/sample.fex

Cheers,
CK

Neelima -

I too wanted to be able to use the -INCLUDE function for my InfoAssist users and opened a case with IBI in October of 2012. The answer was that it was not yet available. Please read on for the response that I received:

There is a New Feature Request for InfoAssist to include "-INCLUDE" in the
code and I can have you added to the New Feature in case 61132541.

Then on April 29, 2013 I received the following update:

We have reviewed your request for a new feature with our engineering staff and it has been determined that this feature will not be
implemented in the WebFOCUS product at this time.

Hi Shakila,

Thanks for response..

I have tried with Report Object and able to execute the like.

Only after opening InfoAssist report in Info-Assist editor and create some changes in that report and then redeem the same report in InfoAssist Editor.Include command is gone away.

Note. - In fex file, -DEFAULT Parameters is there.

Hi Joni,

Please permit me inform if you will get the positive reply from tech support for same.

I have tried the Shakila's Suggestion and got results. but it was impermanent.

Thanks,
Neelima

If I understand what you are asking you are wanting to put an INCLUDE on a info assist report. Is it possible to instead put the include into the reporting object? Then when you create the report that INCLUDE will get included when the report runs.

In order to do that pull up the reporting object and click "Edit in Reporting Object Tool". Then edit "PREPROCESSING OTHER" Then insert your INCLUDE like so -MRNOEDIT -INCLUDE includes/set_variables_info_assist.fex

Now any Info assist report creating with that reporting object will have that included.

Don't know if this will help. Hope it does.
