The function is EDIT.
If you do not want all the leading 0's that may appear, do a TRIM.

WebFOCUS is good but it cannot turn a computer generated column into a car.
I'm sorry but that is such a" I've had no training at all" type of question.
Before you search the forum or IBI support, get some basic training.
Whithout it you have no idea what questions you should be searching for.

Thanks for reply... but iam getting leading Zeros, Actual field length is 9, but some time it may 2 or 4 or 5 so i cannot use TRIM to cut exact length, because if i trim 3 Zeros, if the actual field value 33 then it is returning 000033, I want to show only 33 So is there any other solution for this?
Thanks, Krish

I invite you to actually READ the documentation on the TRIM function, especially the section on "Removing Leading Occurrences" and all will be revealed.

Krish,
Please read the WebFOCUS Functions manual.
There are easier ways to get a formatted number into an alpha field.
