On looking to Techsupport site, decided IE 8 is not compatible with WebFOCUS 7.6.4 but only for 7.6.10

But just got a chance to work with IE 8 in a different environment and found WF 7.6.4 weblinks working perfect.

Anyone working with WebFOCUS 7.6.4 and IE 8 ?
With those confirmation, would like to move forward.

Also
Is Windows 7 fine with WebFOCUS 7.6.4 ?

Thanks,
Mathavi.

Mathavi,

My suggest be if combination not in support matrix then not good idea to use as support might not be?

If you test and it work then me think you ok until you want support, then upgrade?

I have 7.6.5 where IE8 is not supported. Several users downloaded IE8 and had problems with Developer Studio. They could not use the alias or DNS name for the web server node in Show Environments properties. They had to use the IP address. While the web links may work, IE8 is not supported. I would either upgrade or not use it if I were you.
