I have to make a stress test with full traces ON and I want to change the default log path (P:ibi\srv71\wfs\) in order to switch to a new disk with more space. How can I change this setting?

I am running WebFOCUS 5.3 so I don't know if this is the same for WebFOCUS 7.1, but it appears I can change the directory where trace files are written by making a change in the WebFOCUS Admin Console:

http://server:port/ibi_html/wfconsole.htm > Configuration > Startup Parameters > trace_location

These settings are in the 7.1.6 version too. But the traces i'm talking about are the edapath.trc, jscom3.trc, ... and the path you specified me is the path for client logging apparently. So could you please tell me if there's another place where to set another path for the traces i mentionned above.

Francis is correct. The trace_location parameter will send traces to that location, the default location for the trace files is ibi\WebFOCUSnn\logs.

But you mention the directory ibi\srv71\wfs\, which is where the edaprint log files, not trace files, are located. The edaprint.log files are located in the base directory of where the server is installed, the wfs refers to the server type and will be different for the different server types.

As far as I am aware this default location cannot be changed.
