I am generating a report for the Dept. Details.
Here each 'Dept Name' will have more than one 'Dept Code'.
But i have to show it in two views:
Collapse and Expand.

Below the 'Collapsed' View is shown.
Here we do not need to show the 'Dept Code' Details and it should only be shown as 'ALL'.

SL No. Dept. Name Dept Code Counts
1. AA ALL 60
2. BB ALL 50
3. CC ALL 40
TOTAL Counts 150

So the 'TOTAL' is coming as per the 'Counts' given.

Below the 'Expanded'View is shown.
Here the 'Individual Dept Code' will be shown with its 'Individual Counts' along with the counts for 'ALL'.
So teh 'TOTAL' gets doubled as seen here which should not be the case.

So kindly suggest if there is any way in WebFocus so that we can calculate the 'TOTAL' only when the 'Dept Code' is 'ALL'
in the 'Expanded' View and avoid this repeatation.

if this was with the CAR database it could be something like

Would you be so kind to update your signature with the version and platform info.

And if you have questions like this, try to come with examples build upon the CAR or MOVIES database that come with the software. Everybody knows the master and the content of these databases so that makes it easier to help.

And you should post your fex as well.

If you will try for Accordian Report using OLAP dimensions (ON TABLE SET EXPANDABLE ON ), the output will not be as per ur requirement.
Better try in Oracle and Loop and do a print.

What If I would like to use the multiverb option, but would like the RCOST DCOST values to be displayed only once and "Pushed" over as you expand the report? Each time you expand a level, the RCOST DCOST are recalculated.
