[CLOSED] Company logo is missing from reportcaster output
I have a company logo in the header of a pdf report but it is gone from the reportcaster output(pdf). Does anyone know how to distribute report with company logo through reportcaster? Thanks.This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,

There are 2 ways to attach a logo to the header, one is in a defined variable:
LOGO/A200='<IMG SRC="/ibi_html/images/BJ Logo Color.jpg" height="80" width="100">';
If your RC is running on a different server, you will need the complete HTML path.

Thanks for your info. Because it is a RC burst report, the logo property has to be set to the burst column.

This is the way we have handled it. I don't know if using the URL or HTTP reference works when creating a PDF report. If Pat says it does, that's probably right. In any case our approach is to define a variable equal to the actual name of the image:
DEFINE FILE WCLM LOGONAM/A50 = IF ISP_ID EQ 'WCF' THEN 'WCF1' ELSE IF ISP_ID EQ 'ADV' OR 'UA' THEN 'AWC1' ELSE IF ISP_ID EQ 'SCS' THEN 'scslogo' ELSE IF ISP_ID EQ 'WCNW' THEN 'WCN1' ELSE 'NOP'; END
This variable must be in the verb phrase so that it gets into the internal matrix:
Using a fieldname rather than an actual image name requires the parentheses.
All of these images are exactly the same size so their placement on the page is the same regardless of which image appears. Additionally, the images referenced (WCF1, AWC1, scslogo, WCN1 and NOP) must be somewhere in the server path.

Thanks for replies. I simply move it from page header to report header. It works in this case since the report is only one page.
