Has anybody ever made a bar graph where they have set the TARGET to another line in the same fex? Kind of like a GOTO? So, basically, I would have my table file statement with all of my detail, then the first GRAPH FILE statement would give a high level bar chart. The bars would be links to sort of a "GOTO" label in the same fex that would be a lower level of detail and so on? Does that make any sense at all?

So far, I have only seen where TARGET is used to link to another fex or a URL, but not a different line within the same fex.

Thanks! Smiler

Such a thing would be very nice - an accordion graph!
But alas, it does not exist.
What I do for such things is to have the procedure check the drill level that it is being called with and act upon that by including an extra by field or selection. Every subsequent call to the procedure will produce the next level of detail graph, provided the drill down in the graph it is coded correctly.

I would just add an extra parameter to the graph drilldown, execute the same fex with a new parameter value. This value is used in a -GOTO. The variable is defaulted so the first run gets the default graph.

I've had self contained fexes with all drilldown together.

I think that is similar to GamP's solution.

Pity the lost knowledge of an old programmer!

Thanks. Both of these suggestions are great because I can probably code them fairly easily.
