[SOLVED] What Url REALLY Accesses My Personal View in WF8?

Here's a question for you all. I'd like to distribute a standard url that will take all users to their Personal View at signon. I have Single-Sign-On set up with Active directory and it's functioning properly, but when I enter the good ol' http://jlex1/ibi_apps/bid-login url to go to my Personal View I get the Administration page instead -- the one you get when you go to http://jlex1/ibi_apps/.

I'd settle for a list of Group Views as well and I made the change to bid-config to make that happen, but both appear to simply take me to the Admin page instead. Any insight? Is there a setting in WF8 that I'm missing?

Pie will be available to all that come to help me out with this, and this week it's . . . let me check . . . oh! A special treat! Dutch Apple with the glazing!

Andrew Katz is getting Dutch Apple Pie on the back channel -- in WF8 the url needs to be

http://jlex1/ibi_apps/bid/bid-login

Note the extra "bid" in the middle.

I have migrated away from personal views, but use the native ways of WF 8 by using Portals.

Another option for you is to create a custom portal

http://webfocus.com/ibi_apps/bip/portal/Welcome


Inside the Welcome portal itself, you can have a portal tree, so a user will see all the portals they are entitled to.

You can set this portal in the Admin Console so anytime a user logs into Webfocus, they will get this custom portal, with a list of portals.
