i am using bar chart in a pdf format as it needs to be used in a pdf document. the pie chart label size is big that it touches the bar so close. inorder to get the space between the bar and the label, i have to increase the bar chart size in the document which cannot be accepted by the business, as i have limitation in my application to show the bar chart in a specific size.

Maybe it's the BASKERVILLE Font. Please try it with 20 point ARIAL BLACK. Where did "BASKERVILLE" come from and why (just curious)?

Another question, just out of curiosity: Why did you create a HOLD file to be used for the GRAPH FILE Command. It seems like an unnecessary step and, when used in large data sets, may cause unnecessary overhead. Just thinking out loud here...

Try commenting out your line that says SET GRWIDTH = 1. I found that my charts displayed better without that.

issue resolved by using in the GRAPH_SCRIPT.

setDataTextRadiusDefault(100);
setDataTextPosition(0);
