Just wondering if this is possible:

I pull data from an sql stored proc. After my intial run that has date parameters, there is the first report view - Division. On this first view, I have the ability to drill down to group..ect. which are all separate fex. Is it possible to somehow store this first initial pull and have the drill downs (fex's) read off this instead of re-query the sql server? Thanks for any info possible!

FOCCACHE was introduced for this purpose, but it's available for 7.6.5 and above.

Perhaps you could make sure that the web browser cache is used when the user is navigating the report.

Is this creating a temp file specific to each user?

The temp file is related to the users session.

Typically the files only exist of a day.

Check it out in the documentation.

Could you use a PDF drill through with a hold file? All of the reports are in one coupound report from one fex.
