I have a report which looks fine in HTML and Excel , but in PDF it truncates a few columns @ the right hand side of the report. I have SQUEEZE ON and tried to change the orientation to LANDSCAPE, which shows couple more columns but still truncating rest of the report without overflowing to the next page. Any suggestions ?

PDF missing data on the right. I've had that happen and had to change font size or reduce a header line where we've defined headings. Do you have any styling set.

I tried PAGESIZE=LEGAL. It did not work and when I tried reducing the font, I can see the difference in font size in HTML but not in PDF and when I reduced from 9 to 6 I got an error for PDF saying'There are no pages in the document'.

I would take out the PAGESIZE=SCREEN, and set the margins of the page to at least a quarter of an inch.

I suffered terribly from this problem porting reports from VMS Focus to webfocus. How many characters do you need? After much experimentation I found the limit to be about 200 legible chars on letter size/landscape with:

I have tried SET SPACES =1 and decreasing the Font size to 7. It did not make a difference. Also, if I use PAGESIZE=LEGAL or reduce the font below 7, HTML showed the smaller fonts but pdf came back with an message ' This file cannot be opened because it has no pages'.

Have you tried GRID=OFF?
I don't have much experience to go on, only what works here where the grid is turned off. I checked other posts on this forum and apparently the grid setting changes quite a few things that you might not expect it to.

Here's another thing to try:
Issue the following Set command before your request to see your BY fields on each panel:
SET BYPANEL=ON
