Hello all,

Having a security issue in WF 8.1.0.5

We've created a role copied from the "DomainGroupAdmin" template. We'd like this to be a User/Group Admin Power User.

I am running into an issue allowing them to see (not change) the group membership of other users. When they right-click and choose "group membership report" on their own id in Security Center, it works, but if they do this for any other user they get the following error.

Error Code.....IBFS: 1207
Subsystem......IBFS
Asynchronous...false
Public.........false
URI............https://dev.bi.XXX.XXX/ibi_apps/WFServlet.ibfs

Parameters:
IBFS1_action: getGroupsForUser
IBFS_userName: IBFS:/SSYS/USERS/
INTERNAL_FLAGS: 1
INTERNAL_PARENT_ID: IBFS:/SSYS/USERS/
IBIVAL_returnmode: XMLENFORCE
IBIWF_SES_AUTH_TOKEN: d1a7d6a9cd25a970894db23d445e267b

AJAX Return Document:

Not sure if I am missing something in a role, or if additional permissions need to be applied at the Reporting Server level since the error is referencing IBFS?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Supplying this error message into the IBI knowledge base returned the following, please have a look (both are similar)

This is a caching error caused by not clearing the Tomcat cache 'work' folder
after upgrading WebFOCUS.

Running reports results in: Access denied code 1207

Accessing Group Report in Security Center: Error code 1207

Let us know if the above helps out.

Thank you for participating in the Focal Point Forum.

Kindest regards,
