Some of our new PCs have version 8 Adobe Acrobat reader. We've noticed that when using a self service app with version 8 acrobat that produces the PDF output, a dialog box appears asking to save the file to disk.

Is there anyway around this? A setting or something where version 8 will open the PDF output like version 7 Acrobat Reader?

Any help is appreciated,
Thanks,
Jim

The only thing i can think off is in IE, select Tools/Internet options/manage add-ons and see if Adobe is registered there.

I have version 8 working as verion 7 did, but as an update not as a new machine.

Jim/Alan,
We are having the same problem since updating to Adobe version 8.1 yesterday. It works at our main office but not in our other locations that use terminal services to connect. We are currently using version 7.14. Any help would be appreciated!
