OK - this is kind of freaky. We run our environment with LDAP security using Windows Active Directory as the repository. Yesterday I installed ADSelfService Plus to test out the application as a potential self-service account management tool.
Once I had everything set up and configured I changed the password for a user account. No big deal, right?
Well, for a period of time BOTH the OLD and NEW passwords were allowing that account to log on to the BID! When I try to log on to the self-service app only the new password works. When I try to log on to the operating system only the new password works. So, there is something in the WebFOCUS environment that is caching the old credential for a period of time (which I have not determined yet).
I cleared every bit of browser cache I could find, tried multiple browsers and even logged on from different machines and I was still able to log on to the BID using BOTH passwords!
Whats up with that?!?!

Anybody ever have a similar issue? Any advice on what to check? I searched FocalPoint and InfoResponse but could not find anything.

Thanks!

Dan
