I have a calendar drop down on a HTML Page and i need to convert the date coming from the Filter Page to YYMD format and the date from the HTMl page comes in a MDYY format and the data convert functions are not being helpful in this case sucah as
-SET &SDATE1=&PRJ_DATE;
-SET &SDATE2=DATECVT(&SDATE1,'MDYY','YYMD');
-SET &SDATE3=DATEADD(&SDATE2,'M',-2);
-SET &SDATE4=DATECVT(&SDATE3,'YYMD','I8YYMD');

where &PRJ_DATE is the Date coming from the calendar DropDown

&SDATE2 has a value of 0

Is &PRJ_DATE coming from a control with dashes or slashed in it? You might have to take them out with EDIT first. A value of zero indicates an invalid date format.

You might want to -TYPE out the value of the date coming in from the filter page to see exactly what it looks like.

I don't believe DATECVT and DATEADD are supported in Dialogue Manager. Try function CHGDAT to convert your date:

-SET &SDATE2=CHGDAT('MDYY','YYMD',&SDATE1,'A17');
