CA Warner your solution would be to eliminate the first SUM and following STUDENT ID NOPRINT
in order to have the one SUM statement as follows.

TABLE FILE RECORDS
SUM
STUDENTID
COMPUTE PERCENT/F6.2% = ( C2 / C1 ) * 100; AS "Percent"
RANKED BY TOTAL HIGHEST 10 STUDENTID NOPRINT
BY HS_DESC AS 'Highschool'
ON TABLE COLUMN-TOTAL AS ' '
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT XLSX FORMULA
END
