we've got about 100 fexes which we want to expose as web services. we can use the WF console to create WSDLs on a per-fex basis. however, this is a manual process, and these fexes occasionally change. is there any scriptable or automated way to create these WSDLs? nobody's looking forward to repeating the process 100 times every time our files change.

also, the interface limits the user to selecting a max of 10 fexes per WSDL, is there any way around that?

thanks!

Check with NY to confirm this, but you can create a generic wsdl file that will allow you to enter the fex to execute at run time - as well as all the parms needed by the request. If your fex's are self service, then it is pretty easy to do. If your requests are MRE based, then the consuming application would have to know the domain/folder etc. to do this.

As dhangen mentioned, the best function to use the the Generic Function called WebFocusRunFex. This works for Self-Serve or Managed Reporting.
If you are using Managed Reporting, you must select MR Uddi on the main WSDL page before clicking the WSDL button at the bottom of that main page.
