Job scheduled on report caster is failing

Hi,

We are using wf 7.6.1.
Everything is running on the same server. I mean the wf client the webfocus reporting server...
I tried to schedule a job and it fails with the following error:

User: admin

Error connecting to the WebFOCUS Reporting Server EDASERVE: EDA SQL STATUS (-30)

Task type: EDA RPC
Procedure name: plantstd_report/edfax1
Connecting to server EDASERVE with execution id v2agent
Task error:Server disconnected, cause 32008 Eda state -30
No report to distribute.

Could somebody help solving it.

Did you search on the IBI tech support for the specific error code?
Is the service RC running?
How about password settings, RC must be a user as far as I know.

The -30 indicates an invalid protocol.

Can you get MR to work under your config? If the message is correct that may fail as well.
