I am trying to create a Map that shows only the area within 100 miles of my client. This map will have a different color for each zip code that is touching. Also, when you mouse over the area it will display the zip code the city 2 counts (employees and patients) and percent of total for both.

My issue is how to get only the 100 Miles map of zip codes with the understanding that there are both employees and patients that come from outside the 100 miles that will be shown as an floating annotation in the upper right hand corner.

The Map will be interact(online) at first but the business partner will be able to download it to PDF, PPT and Excel (XLSX).

We are using 8104 in all environments with a sandbox of 8105M.

Thanks for any help.

I don't have a solution for your specific version. But if you can get a hold of 8.201, everything you just described is available and can be created using App Stuido integration with ESRI maps. You can create a pretty nice Geo Location App that'll be interactive and you can show multiple entities and highlight a specific radius of so many miles. If you get a chance, have someone from IB show you their standard demo to see what's coming soon.

Hi David

Babak is correct about 8.2.01 but in the mean time, I submitted this to product management and was given the following info and follow up question..

I believe the only option in 8105M is to use the Flexviewer. Does the customer have ArcGIS Server installed onsite?

Regards,
