I trying to display a blank line between 2 fields while using the "OVER" command. I have SET SHOWBLANKS = ON command. But because the whole line is blank, it is not showing it. Below is my code.

TABLE FILE HOLDALL2
SUM
	TOTALCOST/D12.2MC AS 'Invoice Amount' OVER
	BiBlank AS ' ' OVER
	BILLABLEPATIENTDAYS/I11C AS 'Billed patient Days' OVER

When I add an "A" to the title like below, it shows the line. I would to show just spaces instead of a bogus character to display a line.

BiBlank AS 'A' OVER

Is the another command I should be using?

I thought I would show the code by simplifying using the car file.

SET SHOWBLANKS = ON
SET ACROSSTITLE = SIDE
DEFINE FILE CAR
	BiBlank/A1 = '' ;
END

TABLE FILE CAR
SUM
     DEALER_COST OVER
	 BiBlank AS '' OVER
     RETAIL_COST OVER
ACROSS COUNTRY NOPRINT
ACROSS BODYTYPE
ON TABLE SET PAGE-NUM NOLEAD
ON TABLE NOTOTAL
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT HTML
ON TABLE SET HTMLCSS ON
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
     INCLUDE = IBFS:/EDA/EDASERVE/_EDAHOME/ETC/endeflt.sty,
$
ENDSTYLE
END

Have you thought about using the top and bottom gap to style the title and data elements?

type=data, topgap=0.2, bottomgap=0.2, $
type=title, topgap=0.2, bottomgap=0.2, $

BiBlank AS '&|nbsp;' OVER
